Your new company
Hays are working with one of the leading higher education providers here in the South West to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join the team in this newly created role.


Your new role
Working with 2 teams, one focused on Digital and Data with the other working across Change and Transformation. This role is a key role, ensuring there is a robust financial framework in place for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. By providing data, this role will support in the decision-making process, ensuring key objectives are being met. In addition, this role will assess key projects that are being investigated by business, developing financial models whilst looking at the commercial viability of any new initiatives. You will be working alongside non-finance stakeholders, providing financial insights and commentary to allow the team to understand their finance and key project outcomes.


What you'll need to succeed
We are ideally looking for a qualified accountant with experience in a large, complex organisation. We would also consider a finalist or someone in the latter stages of their qualifications. You should have commercial experience, be technically proficient and be able to work with a range of stakeholders, managing expectations and be able to challenge where necessary.
