Job Details

Your new company
Well-established independent firm seeking to recruit a Tax Specialist for a role offering a real mix of tax work and clear scope to develop your advisory exposure.

Your new role
This role will involve supporting clients with both personal and corporate tax aspects alongside colleagues within the firm. You will have responsibility for a personal tax portfolio - managing tax compliance and undertaking tax planning work. Alongside this, you will work with colleagues and clients on a variety of tax advisory matters associated with owner-managed businesses. This could involve providing advice on tax structuring, succession planning, due diligence, share schemes, demergers etc.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a tax professional with experience managing personal tax matters. You may have gained exposure to corporate tax aspects and advisory work, but this can be built up over time. Additionally, an individual from a general practice background who wants to focus more on tax would also be considered.
Ideally, you will hold ATT, ACCA or ACA qualifications alongside gaining solid tax knowledge. A desire to continue with or start studying towards CTA qualifications would be highly beneficial.

What you'll get in return
This is a great opportunity to join a very personable and friendly firm in a role which offers both variety and long-term progression. There is a clear intention to invest in the chosen individual and give the chosen candidate opportunities to develop their advisory experience. Study support towards CTA qualifications will be offered to the chosen individual.
