Your new company Your new company is an industry leading scientific research and healthcare PLC, providing essential services across the pharmaceutical sector. They are a rapidly growing manufacturing business and span across the UK, Europe and America and now have an exciting new vacancy for a Revenue Accounting Manager.
Your new role
In your new role as Revenue Accounting Manager, you will provide finance support for the European Project Team. You will deliver a reliable and accurate monthly forecast of cost and revenue for customer contracts. You will control project spending with a key focus on the engineering projects. You'll work closely with the project team in recognising revenues and costs in line with US and UK GAAP. You'll produce monthly management accounts showing the progress of each project and potential risks to success and changes from one month to the next.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant and have experienced working within a larger, more complex business working on provisions of accounting for long and short-term manufacturing projects. You will have experience on revenue contracts in line with US & UK GAAP. You'll have experience working alongside none finance teams such as projects and operations. Both practice and industry trained accountants will be considered.
