Your new role
As a Senior Accountant, you will work in a core accounting role and will build on your technical accounting skills. This is a broad role where you will prepare statutory accounts under IFRS and manage the management accounting process whilst supporting the FPA process.

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts for the group providing insightful explanations of material deviations from plans, forecasts and historical trends
• Preparation of consolidated P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital and cash flow reports, including commentary and relevant comparatives
• Liaise closely with the sales team to reconcile, report and forecast revenue streams and gross margin
• Deliver monthly financial reports to key budget holders, presented appropriately to allow decision-making and verification
• Review and enhance accounting processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient use of available systems

What you'll need to succeed

• Actively studying for an ACCA or CIMA qualification or Qualified By Experience
• Extensive experience from the Group Finance function of a blue chip business
• Previous experience in a fast-moving environment.
• Analysis of large volumes of data
