- Our team is self-starting, agile, and thrives on applying past experiences to new challenges. They excel both individually and in multi-disciplinary teams, delivering hands-on, client-facing services in the capital markets sector. We support clients, mainly large global banks, with significant business and regulatory changes and improving governance, controls, and risk frameworks. Our work spans Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Finance functions, often cross-functionally.
- We offer implementation support, consulting advice, and independent reviews, addressing the biggest issues our clients face. Recent projects include booking model changes, RCSA redesign, ESG reporting, and eTrading governance, risk, and control. We seek agile individuals who enjoy working across diverse subjects.
- Applications are welcome from industry professionals and those in professional services with wholesale banking experience. We also consider candidates who have recently obtained their ACA (or equivalent) qualification and have experience in external assurance and controls assignments.
What your days will look like:
As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively assist in delivery of client engagements, while reporting to senior practice staff
- Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
This role is for you if:
- Experience of working within established professional services/consulting organisations or banks specifically focussed on regulatory/business change and/or front to back trading governance, risk and controls.
- A proven track record of successfully supporting work-streams within change/client engagements
- Strong client relationship, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with a good track record of dealing with stakeholders
- Good commercial awareness, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative
- Strong oral and written communication skills (ie report writing)
- The ability to apply good judgment during engagements and to support conclusions reached to more senior level personnel both internally and externally
- Very strong attention to detail
- Strong power-point skills
- Agility - an interest in working in a dynamic environment and on different types of projects in the capital markets arena
