Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a well-established and successful manufacturing group to recruit a dynamic and experienced Finance Business Partner based in their Stonehouse, Gloucestershire office. A progressive role offering career development where you will take responsibility for working directly with operational management providing daily/weekly/monthly performance analysis on key business metrics. Open to qualified/part-qualified accountants or qualified by experienced finance professionals, with business partnering experience.
Your new role
Your key duties will involve business partnering with operational team, driving/supporting bottom line improvements, providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies. You will act as a financial advisor, offering general financial support to commercial decision makers, take ownership of operational budgets, implementation of weekly/monthly reporting to the business on KPI's, with emphasis on cost per unit metrics. You prepare month-end variance analysis, undertake project-based work for specific strategies/business initiatives, and be involved in internal/external audit. You will be involved in ad-hoc duties and financial analysis, as well as deputising for the Finance Manager when required.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this progressive Finance Business Partner role, you will be part qualified/qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience with business partnering experience. Strong MS excel skills, effective communication skills to partner at all levels both internally/externally and with non-financial management, with the capacity to influence others. You will be accurate and numerate, willing to learn, and keen to develop further in your accounting career. Experience with SAP and within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous but not essential.

This permanent Finance Business Partner role is offering a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependable on experience based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
