Financial Accountant (12 Month FTC)

ROLE: Financial Accountant
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
LENGTH: 15-Month Fixed Term Contract
LOCATION: Ashford, Kent (Hybrid Working)

Responsibilities

• Ensures inter-company activity is timely and accurately accounted for, including preparing invoices as necessary, reconciling the associated accounts, confirming balances with other affiliates, and maintaining compliance with the Group's Transfer Pricing Policy.
• Completes monthly financial reporting routines as a part of the financial closing process, including review and communication of the associated financial statements, along with consolidating these statements into Group and global reporting tools/processes.
• Preparing the statutory accounting reports for the associated countries, including support for any associated audits.
• Maintains all associated general ledger accounts within the associated sets of books, including recording necessary journals and preparing account reconciliations.

Person Specification

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Big Four audit experience.
• German speaking would be desirable, but not essential.
• Proficient in Excel
