Finance and Planning Manager

The Finance & Planning Manager provides support to the business to deliver the organisation's strategic objectives, with a focus on delivery of service targets, productivity, efficiency and innovation.
The candidate will need to understand the drivers of performance, be knowledgeable about past performance versus targets, and work with management to improve performance costs effectively in the future.Main Responsibilities

• Develop plans that focus on productivity, efficiency and innovation and provide input into the planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Deliver planning and scenario modelling that enable management to understand the current relationship between inputs and outputs
• Provide insight into opportunities to improve overall efficiency
• Provide analysis that demonstrates the current relationship between performance and financials and work with management to improve business performance.
• Develop specific reporting including activity-based reporting and productivity reporting

You will be a qualified accountant with experience of budgetary control and financial management, ideally from a commercial accounting or FP&A background.
The role is for 6 months, and you will need to be immediately available or on short notice and able to commit to the 6 months.
