Job Details
Your new company
Your new company is an owner-managed, leading distribution business based in Manchester City Centre. Due to exciting growth plans, they are recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
Your new role
In your new role you will be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts as well as getting exposure to projects across different departments and in the wider business. You will have responsibility for the P&L and ensure balance sheets are completed on a monthly basis. In this role you will need to be an excellent communicator, and build strong relationships across the business as partnering with stakeholders is key to success. You will assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and support the team on the year-end audit.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant, with experience working as part of a busy finance function. You will need to have exposure to producing end-to-end management accounts, as well as a natural at building relationships. You will be self-motivated, conscientious and able to work under your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will get a salary of up to £52,000 + an excellent benefits package. You will work for a well known retailer and distributor and have the opportunity to develop your skill set and progress within the business. In this role, no two days will be the same and you will get great exposure to projects and senior stakeholders.
