Your new company
You will be joining a well established group in the Woking area who operate Internationally. Established for more than 30 years, they are highly respected in their field and are continuing to grow organically. Your new job is a key contract role for 6 months working with the reporting team.
Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will be taking on a key role in supporting the delivery of financial statements for the UK and overseas entities, audit liaison and ensuring that accounting standards are being applied correctly. You'll also support delivery of Corporate Tax schedules and support the wider finance team with accounting advice. You'll also partner across the wider business so a positive, relationship building approach is essential!
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you should be a strong technical accountant, confident in preparing and reviewing financial statements. You should be confident in leading the audit process. Whilst knowing IFRS inside and out is not essential, you should be confident in researching and applying the best accounting approach. Needless to say being hands on is essential for success!!
