About the role:

We are seeking a Manager to join our Risk and Resilience team in Macro Risk Services, focusing on Enterprise Risk Management. If you want to work with senior management teams of leading UK non-financial services companies, possess strong problem-solving skills, intellectual agility, and can build deep, productive relationships, this opportunity is for you.

You'll work with diverse, well-known clients and gain experience in designing and implementing risk management frameworks. This role will help Boards identify, assess, and manage significant risks within their organisations, providing a rewarding and challenging career path in risk management.

What your days will look like:
  • Managing and delivering assignments
  • Working as part of a team or independently depending on the size of the assignment
  • Developing and managing client relationships
  • Identifying and developing client opportunities
  • Partial and full-time client secondments
  • Providing input into the development of PwC's Risk and Resilience propositions


This role is for you if:
  • You are highly confident and resilient, comfortable asserting yourself with senior clients (Executive and Board level) with strong technical risk management knowledge and proven ability developing and implementing practical risk management processes and frameworks in non-FS businesses
  • You have knowledge of prevailing corporate governance requirements, solid financial and commercial acumen and understanding with excellent presentation skills and experience planning and facilitating workshops / risk exercises with senior level audiences
  • You have robust diligence and ability to pay close attention to detail, including impeccable report-writing skills, familiarity with common risk analysis techniques, understanding of scenario modelling and ability to innovate and think laterally
  • You have strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to build trust and rapport with diverse internal and external stakeholders, ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • You have proven team management skills, including coaching and development of junior resources, ability to work as part of a team and independently with little management oversight and commercially focused and strong business development skills
