Job Details
Our Private Business team specialise in providing corporate tax advice to privately owned and Private Equity backed businesses together with owners and management teams on all aspects of tax in the UK and abroad including shareholder issues. Collaboration with other areas of the business enables us to work holistically with clients to find solutions to achieve their plans.

We are looking for individuals with significant and varied experiences of advising privately owned or Private Equity backed businesses and business owners on a broad range of complex matters.
What your day will look like:
- You will work closely with experienced Private Business Partners and Directors to develop new client relationships, identifying, and pursuing new opportunities from within our market.
- You will have ownership for a diverse and broad portfolio of client engagements, including privately owned and private equity portfolio companies.
- Developing significant market relationships with both our interesting clients (including many well-known household names) and internal stakeholders, collaborating across the firm when developing client relationships or delivering complex projects.
- Maintaining an expert level of relevant tax knowledge (both UK and overseas), staying current with technical developments including changes in tax law and legislation.
- Advising clients and internal stakeholders on the latest tax technical issues, including delivering sessions at client / knowledge events.
- Supervising, coaching, and providing regular feedback to Managers, Senior Associates and Associates within the team while also keeping more senior stakeholders updated on progress.
This role is for you if:
- You are ACA and/or CTA qualified or overseas equivalent
- You have extensive tax knowledge and experience with complex tax issues for various business types, both in the UK and overseas.
- You have strong project management and communication skills, including managing multiple client projects and serving as the main contact for complex client engagements.
- You are proficient in coaching and developing team members, as well as efficiently using technology for managing client relationships and deliverables.
