Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Property Development company around Bicester, that's expected to double in size, in the next 3-5 years. The role is no.2 to the Finance Director and offers the chance to make a real difference to how the Finance function operates, and the continued growth of the business.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, your duties will include:
- Producing monthly Management Accounts, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts/statements etc.
- Contributing to year-end audits and statutory accounts
- Identifying and implementing improvements to processes, controls and systems
- Preparing company budgets, partnering with all departments, analysing variances vs actual
- Developing budgeting and forecasting with the FP&A Analyst
- Providing insights and recommendations to the SLT to support decision making and planning
- Supporting the CFO with the strategic plan for the business
- Analysing data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings
- Tax reporting including VAT, R&D tax credits, CIS and payroll
- Management of the finance function, including 3 staff members
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be:
- Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or by Experience
- Experience operating in a similar Finance position
- System/process improvement experience is beneficial
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Experience working in a high-growth business is beneficial
- Strong systems / Excel skills
