Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of their exclusive client for a permanent Finance Manager to join their small & busy office in Perth. Salary is £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience + 30 days annual leave, hybrid working, private medical insurance and a half day on a Friday.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director you will complete all finance responsibilities for the Perth office. You will complete monthly management accounts including variance analysis, you will assist with the preparation of the annual budget & forecasts and you will prepare the annual statutory accounts. You will process journals including prepayments & accruals, complete VAT returns, maintain the fixed asset register and be in charge of the banking. You will also be responsible for transactional accounting including sales & purchase ledger.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced & 'hands on' accountant who is comfortable completing the full accounts process from transactional accounting through to monthly management accountant, financial analysis & year-end accounting. You will be a relationship builder who can finance business partner with people at all levels. You will have excellent IT skills including Excel & ideally ERP systems, however it is not essential.
