Your new company
A fast-growing PBSA provider with offices in Central London, with a view to offering student accomodation tailored to each city, the company has become well-established in the UK as a leading organisation in its sector.
Your new role
The Finance Manager role will report directly to the Head of Finance whilst overseeing a junior finance team. Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Lead the delivery of consolidated management packs
- Work closely with Jersey based administators accounting team
- Prepare entity level and consolidated statutory accounts
- Leading on the audit process and working closely with external auditors
- Work with external tax advisors, overseeing preparation of CT returns and tax accounting
- Cash flow forecasts
- Improve processes and controls
- Ad hoc project work with the Head of Finance
What you'll need to succeed
This role would be suited to a Qualified Accountant who has had experience previously working within the Real Estate, Property or Construction sector. Any experience with a PBSA or build to rent business would be advantageous but not essential. You will enjoy working in a busy and hands on role where you can take the lead on several processes such as audits and statutory accounting. Knowledge of IFRS and IFRS 102 is essential.
