Your new company
You will be joining a growing insurance firm based in the City of London as their Management Accountant, reporting into the Head of Finance. This is a newly created position due to company growth following their acquisition by a larger, highly established firm. You will be part of a close-knit finance team of 4, working in their social office 4 days / week. Responsible for overseeing the 2 junior finance assistants, you will act as the Head of Finance's 'right-hand man'. Looking for a strong communicator with extensive audit, VAT, and management accounts experience.

- Audit work
- VAT returns
- Cash flow forecasting
- Preparation of management accounts and checking the work sent by the finance assistants
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the x2 junior finance assistants
- System: SUN
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have extensive audit and VAT experience, as well as experience producing/reviewing management accounts. Exposure to the insurance sector is a bonus but not an absolute requirement. A high attention to detail is also vital, as well as strong communication skills.
