Financial Accountant - FTC

Your new company
Working for a well known Financial Services Business, you will be working from the UK Head office here in Bristol.

Your new role
We are looking for someone to join the business on a fixed-term contract, to support the financial control team. The role will include:

• Delivery of month end close within the group finance team.
• Support the audit process by providing supporting evidence and document accounting positions
• Review accounting entries and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the transactional accounting teams
• Contribute to both regional and group wide projects, including continuous improvement and transformational activity.
• Maintain controls in the reporting process and put ideas forward
• Respond to requests from across the business related to reporting and financial controls

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant with good IFRS and local accounting knowledge, with solid month-end / balance sheet experience. If you have experience of Oracle ERP systems, that would be beneficial. The role is based here in Bristol in a modern office with parking. You will be required to attend the office 3 days per week, working from home for the other 2.
