Your new company
This business will see you join a nationwide housing and property company. They are one of the UK's leading non-profit housing associations with strong portfolios and pipelines of ambitious projects.
Your new role
You will join them on an initial maternity cover, FTC, and as the Assistant Finance Manager, you will report to the Head of Development Finance. Lead a small growing team, supporting the development operational team. Partner with management, providing key financial information and advice. Reconcile schemes as developments work through to completion, monitor the production of statutory and management accounts, assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant or QBE with strong business partnering experience and technical ability. You will have strong stakeholder management ability, strong leadership ability and be confident and credible to oversee the production of management accounts, financial accounting, and have exceptional communication skills. It would be beneficial if you are coming from a housing/property background.
