Your new company
Hays are delighted to partner with this charitable organisation who are looking for a Treasury Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role
This is an integral position within the organisation- as the Treasury Manager you will:

  • Lead and maintain the treasury function for the Charity
  • Ensure there is adequate funding capacity and liquidity
  • Ensure reasonable capital budgets are set, and key risks are identified and reported
  • Monitor actual capital costs against budgets and report risk areas
  • Ensure that tight financial controls are maintained
  • Prepare and model development appraisals
  • Maintain an up-to-date long term cash flow forecast/business plan
  • Ensure that all management information is provided to funders in line with the banking covenants

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will:

  • Will be a Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACMA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Have proven experience in the areas of financial planning, control and reporting, ideally within the housing/charity sector
  • Have previous Treasury experience
  • Have the ability to lead on forecasting and budget setting
  • Have excellent spreadsheet modelling experience
