An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the judiciary as a Fee-paid Financially Qualified Member of the First-tier Tribunal assigned to the Social Entitlement Chamber, Social Security and Child Support. There are 18 vacancies across England, Scotland and Wales.
The Social Entitlement Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal hears appeals relating to a wide variety of benefit decisions made by central and local governments. The Tribunal’s composition depends on the nature of the appeal but will include a Tribunal Judge.
Financial Members must be a qualified chartered accountant.
