Hays are currently working with a leading South West company to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

Your new role
This is an integral role in ensuring the Shared Service centre is driving best practice and compliance across the region. This role will require problem-solving, being a key point of contact between the SSC and individual regions, helping to resolve any escalations. Other responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for helping to deliver in line with SLA.
  • Engage and influence key stakeholders, identifying and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Point of escalation and ensure and problems are resolved quickly and stakeholders are kept informed
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as CFO
  • Work with commercial teams to improve financial reporting across the business
  • Drive a high performance culture
  • Work closely with regional managers and finance leads to deliver key projects.

What you'll need to succeed
Looking for a qualified accountant, with extensive experience in a large complex business at a senior level. Ideally, you will have good technical expertise and be adapt to working in complex businesses going through change and growth. You should have good stakeholder engagement and have a track record of project management on complex topics. You should have experience of working in a Shared Service environment.
