Who are we?

WRAP is an international climate action NGO, and our core purpose is to help tackle climate change and protect our planet by changing the way things are produced, consumed, and disposed of. We don’t believe that our natural resources should be wasted, everything we use should be re-used and recycled.

If you join us at WRAP – and we think you should – you'll drive important change and help transform our throwaway economy into one where we eliminate waste, circulate resources, and adopt nature-positive, low carbon, and resource-efficient systems.

Our vision is a thriving world in which climate change is no longer a problem, and you can help us achieve this.

The role

As our new Head of Finance, you will transform how we manage money and help us transition to a global, agile NGO. You will:

  • Lead our team of seven finance professionals, coaching them to develop their expertise and maximise their impact,
  • Work with leadership teams across the organisation to provide excellent advice and insightful reporting,
  • Evolve our policies and processes to help us achieve our ambitious impact and income targets as a growing global NGO group
  • Be an organisational leader as a member of the CFO Leadership Team

Who are we looking for?

  • An experienced, qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with experience in the not-for-profit environment – although you may also have spent part/most of your career in another sector.
  • An excellent team player with experience of coaching and motivating teams, including through times of strategic change. This may be your first ‘Head of’ role.
  • A track record of working with leadership teams to deliver key objectives and manage risks.

Ready to help us save the planet?

Our people are what make WRAP unique. If you think you have what it takes, but your experience looks different to what is advertised, please still apply.

We want to help you be your best, so please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustments during the recruitment process.
