Your new company
- Your new company is an accounting firm operating out of Woking working with a wide range of partnerships of medium - large-sized clients as well as an impressive portfolio of sole traders.
- They pride themselves on a positive worklife balance routine proven through their 8:00 - 13:30 working day every Friday. They also offer hybrid working and a complex portfolio of clients to work on.
Your new role
- Be responsible for dealing with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of audited entities.
- Complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales and identify opportunities for additional billings.
- Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required.
- Ensure that the firm's risk management and quality control procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Work as part of a management team with other Audit Managers within the business group (e.g. resource planning, merit rate meetings and efficiency gains)
- Support Partners with the implementation and communication of any new business strategy for existing and target audit entities as well as the internal business.
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Previous experience operating at assistant manager level or above in a similar role.
- Proven experience of managing a portfolio of clients and developing strong client relationships using FRS102
- Proven broad audit experience in producing high quality audits.
What you'll get in return
- £55,000 - £70,000 PA depending on experience
- Working week from 8:00 - 17:30 Monday - Thursday
8:00 - 13:30 Friday
- Hybrid working
