PART QUALIFIED TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT / QBE ACCOUNTANT (2 years+ experience in practice)
BICESTER OFFICE
Company overview:We're an established and dynamic practice that is undergoing an exciting period of growth and are looking for a Part Qualified Trainee Accountant / QBE Accountant with bookkeeping, VAT returns and accounts preparation experience to join our Bicester team.
Opportunity highlights:This is an excellent time to join a vibrant, expanding practice and play a key part in our ongoing growth plans. As a team member, you will have the opportunity to gain more responsibility and support the Senior Management Team with the continued development of the practice.
Role responsibilities:

  • Prioritising own workload
  • Preparing VAT returns and management accounts
  • Communicating with, and assisting clients with queries
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts and Corporation Tax returns
  • Preparation of self-assessment tax returns


Desired qualifications and experience:We are looking for an experienced candidate, who takes pride in their work and in being part of a positive and productive team. The successful candidate will be willing to go above and beyond the expectations of clients, to help develop profitable, long-lasting relationships.We require someone who:

  • Is Part Qualified / QBE
  • Has at least 2 years of experience working within general practice
  • Is enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and positive mindset
  • Possesses excellent attention to detail
  • Is able to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Has strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
  • Has experience of sole trade, partnership and limited company bookkeeping,
    VAT return and accounts preparation
  • Has experience with a range of accounting softwares; knowledge of Xero, Sage and
    Quickbooks is desirable. Training on CCH will be given
