An award-winning business advisory and accountancy group based in Blackburn, Lancashire. Established in 1929 this firm's core value has been its client-focused culture, reflected in the fact that 80 per cent of clients are longstanding. In 2012 this firm won the Corporate Finance Advisory Team of the Year at the Insider Lancashire Dealmaker Awards, and currently houses around 60 members of staff with 5 in Tax.

Your new role
Due to expansion, this firm is looking for an experienced and well-rounded Mixed Tax Manager that can manage both compliance and advisory work and be heavily client facing. You will also assist on enquiries with the revenue. You will manage a portfolio of clients consisting of OMB's, SME's, HNWI's, partnerships, partners and directors and will be the main point of contact with your clients.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of managing a Mixed Tax portfolio of clients, predominantly personal and some corporate, and will be competent in both compliance and advisory work. You will be a confident communicator and will be CTA qualified, ideally with people management experience.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of up to £50,000 and matched on current annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will also receive an excellent opportunity with fast progression with a reputable local firm.
