Your new firm
Your new firm are a well known and established top 50 firm are chartered accountants who provide a range of services across the North West. The firm offer services in audit, advisory, corporate finance, outsourcing and taxation. Due to increase workload and a growing tax division across multiple offices they are now looking for a strong VAT Manager to join the team.

Your new role
In your new role you will work in a small team of VAT specialists dealing with the full range of VAT and indirect tax issues. You will advice on a range of complex VAT queries and also work with clients closely looking for opportunities to promote VAT services. In terms of client sectors you will work across a real variety including property, education, retail, healthcare, charities and social housing. You will manage HMRC queries with clients and also get involved with VAT for M&A purposes. This will be a very varied VAT role and would suit someone who wants to work across the full spectrum.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to have strong VAT knowledge, having worked in a similar role support VAT services in the past. Ideally you need to have a good knowledge of tax as a whole and have offered both compliance and advisory services.
