Your new company
This rapidly growing SME business in Crawley is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to work closely with the Managing Director.
Your new role
You will be overseeing a small team and play a crucial role in managing the finances of the company. You will be responsible for the month and year-end financial reporting. Prepare profit and loss accounts at month-end and year-end, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Monitor and manage the company's ongoing monthly and annual cashflow, including producing budgets and forecasts. Ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded, executed, and monitored. Monitor accounts, process invoices for purchases and sales, and promptly respond to correspondence and enquiries from suppliers. Prepare accurate financial statements for internal and external reporting. Proactively manage debt collection, build strong customer relationships, and collaborate with our debt recovery agent. Process quarterly VAT returns in compliance with regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified Accountant with extensive experience of working within a SME, along with processing management and financial accounts. Excellent communication skills are a must.
What you'll get in return
Salary to £65,000 plus pension, 25 days holiday and bank holidays.
