AAT or QBE Accounts Senior
Permanent, Full-time

Our client is an independent firm of chartered accountants for SME owner managed businesses and FCA regulated organisations operating in the professional, property, building, construction, technology and retail sectors. Due to business expansion, customer demand and accelerated growth, they are seeking an AAT or QBE Accounts Senior.

Reporting to the Line Manager, responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of financial and management accounts for Limited companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships across a diverse group of industries.
* Monthly and quarterly management accounting assignments, including VAT returns.
* Assisting with larger financial accounting assignments.
* Communication and networking with clients, partners, and colleagues to progress assignments and resolve queries
* Prepare corporation tax calculations and returns.
* Establish strong and successful relationships with accounts clients through effective stakeholder management
* Contribute to team success by motivating and assisting with supervision and training of junior team members
* Continued development of skillset and knowledge through self-study supported by our in-house training and development programme
* Ad-hoc project work to assist managers and partners, as required

Skills Required:
* Qualified AAT or qualified by experience
* At least 2 years in a practice role running relevant assignments
* Hands-on approach and willingness to go the extra mile
* Experience of working with SME/owner-managed businesses
* Team player
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
