Your new company
A fast paced and entrepreneurial group in the events sector has seen outstanding organic growth and are now looking for a Financial Controller to develop a finance function in preparation for further expansion and growth within their industry.

Your new role
As Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Finance Director. You will take full ownership of accurate and timely, daily, weekly, and monthly accounts, whilst continuously looking for areas of improvement. You will be lead support in the audit, partnering with all senior stakeholders, internal and external. Alongside this, you will always be looking at ways to add value commercially by business partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant, Qualified by Experience (QBE) will also be considered. You will need previous experience in fast paced businesses and be prepared to be 'hand on'. You will have a strong technical understanding, in conjunction with a commercial mindset to identify efficiencies to look for continuous improvements.
