Your new company
We are proud to be working with a high-profile and well established charity in the Essex region in recruiting their next Interim Finance Director on an initial 6 months duration.

Your new role
Reporting into a driven and ambitious CEO, you will lead a small but well established finance function in producing the full financial and management reporting in line with strict timelines,

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified with proven experience of working in the charities sector and SORP reporting experience. You will have experience of leading a year-end and audit process whilst also driving performance and improvements with the monthly management accounts. You will work in a business partnering fashion and collaborate fully with your non-finance budget holders and colleagues. You will also be able to demonstrate commercial and strategic acumen and an ability to contribute and lead a 5 year business plan.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options are available and there is scope for working 2-3 days per week in their offices in Essex. There is a need to be visible in the role whilst leading your team and this is not a 100% remote working role. The role is being offered on an initial 6 months duration with the potential for the successful applicant to also apply for the permanent role.
