Job Details

Your new role
As Head of Finance, you'll support the Finance Director and CEO with the operational financial strategy and the of this interesting SME.

You'll oversee the small finance team and have full responsibility for operational financial management, to include management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, statutory accounting, payroll, and transactional processing.


What you'll need to succeed
You'll need to be a qualified accountant with previous experience in a similar position, maybe as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller within an SME business.

It's critical that you can hit the ground running and are happy to "roll up your sleeves" and get stuck in with the day to day as well as the higher level strategic responsibilities.


What you'll get in return
You'll be well compensated for this initial 6 month FTC with a competitive base salary up to £60,000 FTE, as well as a good benefits package and plenty of flexibility on how you work. We will consider senior applicants with relevant experience looking to work 4 days per week at 0.8 FTE too.

You will need to be able to get to the Swindon offices at least two days per week for the entirety of the contract, and there may be the very occasional need to travel outside of Swindon to other southern UK locations too.
