Your new company

Hays are recruiting for a leading legal firm based in South Manchester, who are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join their team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

Your new role

On a day-to-day basis:

  • Monitoring the bank accounts and allocating receipts.
  • Process VAT returns
  • Financial management reporting
  • Verify purchase order and delivery notes in accordance with VAT legislation.
  • Assist with annual audit.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and petty cash accounts on a daily basis.
  • Issue cheques and complete bank transfers.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar position and possess strong Excel skills. You will be a team player, have a proactive approach to your work and be able to multitask. You will be available to start at short notice and ready to hit the ground running.
