Your new company
They are a reputable global Investment Management firm looking for a Senior Finance Manager with Financial Control experience to join their team for 6 months in Reading.

Your new role
The Senior Finance Manager will oversee the financial accounting and reporting for the entities in the UK and Continental Europe:

Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate monthly book closures for allocated entities/workstreams.
  • Analyse and apply accounting treatments (US GAAP, local GAAP, IFRS).

Oversight and Risk Management:

  • Monitor financial and operational risks related to accounting and reporting.
  • Manage the external audit process and attend service meetings.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Liaise with the EMEA Regulatory Reporting team.
  • Provide financial forecasts and assess regulatory developments.

Relationship Management:

  • Coordinate with finance teams, external auditors, and senior leadership.
  • Support EMEA FP&A and actively contribute to finance development programs.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Accountant
  • More than 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of local accounting standards and of US GAAP / IFRS.
  • Experience of managing people and teams.
  • Experienced user of ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
