Your new company
Your new company is a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced media advertising agency who, due to expansion, have opened up a second office in Manchester City Centre. Due to the opening of the 2nd office, they're now looking to recruit a number of finance professionals to join their ever-growing finance function, one of which is a Finance Manager.
Your new role
In your new role as the Assistant Finance Manager you will pay a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our financial processes. You will be responsible for overseeing balance sheet activities, conducting reconciliations, and managing cash flow to support the company's financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in managing complex financial operations.

What you'll need to succeed
To thrive within this exciting business, you will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven experience working within a large complex business. Ideally 4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a focus on balance sheet management, reconciliations, and cash management. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and cash flow management strategies. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g, Workday) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
