Your new firm
With a total of 6 offices, this Top 80 accountancy practice offers a variety of services across Accountancy, Audit and Taxation, Corporate Finance, Payroll & Advisory. This firm are currently experiencing considerable growth and are therefore looking to recruit an experienced VAT Manager to help grow their offering.

Your new role
In your new role you will be working closely with the tax partner, providing a range of both VAT compliance and advisory services. You will liaise with clients regarding all VAT matters and be their point of contact. You will follow up all live VAT leads that the firm generates and also take responsibility for growing and developing the workload and overall team. The VAT work is very varied, consulting on a number of VAT queries.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to come from a strong VAT background and ideally have experience working in a similar role within a practice environment. VAT professionals will be considered from HMRC or industry, but there must be a desire to work in an accountancy firm. Ideally, you will have experience of managing people and be willing to get involved in business development.
