Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, dynamic energy business in North Oxfordshire. They're looking for an ambitious Management Accountant to join the team, contribute to the growth of the company and support the management of the finance function.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, your duties will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, reviewing P&L vs budget
  • Supporting cashflow forecasting and budgeting
  • Balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
  • Overseeing the transactional function (AP & AR)
  • Managing the finance inbox, delegating tasks to the team
  • Preparing quarterly VAT and CCL returns and payments
  • Managing payroll
  • Supporting year-end accounts and audit
  • Supporting the development of the finance team
  • Providing financial data and information for the wider business

What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc.) or QBE
  • Excellent experience in Management Accountant/Reporting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Excel / Data management skills
