Are you an ACA Qualified Accounts Manager or Business Services Manager (or an Assistant Manager) from a practice background, looking to join a large Top 15 accountancy firm in an exciting newly created role? Are you looking for a role where you can utilise your accounting and advisory experience, ability to manage a high performing team and work directly with interesting clients from a wide variety of sectors? Are you also looking for a role with future progression? Based in the Business Services Division and reporting directly to Partner level, your role will include: managing a prestigious portfolio of clients (from sectors including technology, retail, financial services, professional practices and media / entertainment businesses), the preparation of full sets of statutory accounts under FRS 102 and IFRS, the preparation of cash flow statements, the preparation of financial statements for LLP’s, consolidated accounts, management accounts, Vat returns, assisting with the management of a medium size team, reviewing work, conducting staff appraisals and any other ad hoc projects that arise. Most of your role will be review and advisory based but you will be expected to carry out some hands on work from time to time. Your role will be varied, interesting and rapid progression expected for high performers. The firm is happy to look at a strong candidate at either Manager level or Assistant Manager level.

To be considered for this newly created role (March 2024) you must be fully ACA qualified with at least 2 years post qualification experience for an Assistant Manager position and at least 3 years PQE for a Manager position. You must currently be working in a good quality accountancy firm and have experience of the above duties particularly the preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 102 and IFRS and ideally consolidated accounts for medium to large size clients. Experience of using a wide range of software packages and being good with IT is essential. You must be a team player, have strong technical skills and have experience managing a portfolio of clients and a team.

This large Top 15 firm based in a prime location in the City of London, is in an easily accessible location and offers all staff a great work life balance, including being able to work from home 2 to 3 days a week. The firm is growing at a rapid rate and is continuing to win new clients, often from competitor accountancy firm due to the high quality of their work. In this newly created position you will be given every opportunity to learn new skills and develop so that you can progress to Senior Manager level in a short space of time. You will work on many interesting and high profile London and international clients from a range of sectors. Overall this new role is great opportunity for a fully qualified Business Services Manager or Assistant Manager to join a large and growing Top 15 accountancy firm and work in a role with great learning opportunities, development and progression on offer.
