Job Details

Tax Director or Senior Manager is required for the new Norwich office of this highly successful accountancy firm.
Joining the other Corporate Tax partners based in Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich, and with the rest of the team across the region, you will draw on your strong technical expertise to provide excellent front-line client service, alongside supervising the work of more junior staff and assisting with their development, both in terms of complex compliance work and advisory. You will also be actively involved in business development activities.

Skills required;

  • Experience of all aspects of corporate and business tax within a professional service environment is essential, including, but not limited to:
  • Supervision of the production of Corporation Tax Returns, computations and related advice;
  • Remuneration planning and profit extraction
  • Tax issues surrounding business acquisitions and disposals, including entitlement to Business Asset Disposal Relief, to facilitate working alongside the Corporate Finance team on M&A transactions.
  • Corporate group restructuring
  • Capital Allowances
  • R&D tax credits, Patent Box and Land Remediation Relief
  • Cross border issues, including Transfer Pricing and large company compliance obligations
  • Loan Relationships
  • Employment Related Securities, including employee share schemes
  • EIS / SEIS
  • Tax due diligence
