Job Details

You will be working for one of the area\'s leading legal firms, which provides the full range of legal services to businesses, organisations and individuals on the South Coast.

As a senior tax expert in the firm, you will be managing your own case load of trusts and tax compliance clients as well as providing wider technical tax and trust support to the TEP team. This is likely to include preparation of trust accounts; preparation of trust tax returns and R185s, including IHT returns; preparation of estate tax returns; personal tax returns and ad hoc tax computations as required.

It is likely that the successful candidate will be ATT/CTA or TEP qualified with at least 2 years PQE in a similar role. They will need to have excellent Microsoft package skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc, be extremely organised and accurate with a high level of attention to detail and have the ability to use initiative and be willing to take ownership and be accountable for their own work.

On a more personal note, you will need to be enthusiastic and hard working with a good telephone manner and the ability to liaise with clients and external organisations. The ability to work in a team is key and being able to generate some of your own work via business development would be ideal.
