Your new company
Your new company is a FTSE-250 listed manufacturing PLC based in North Manchester. Due to another internal promotion, they're now looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller.

Your new role
In your new role as Assistant Financial Controller, you will own the production and consolidation of the Group's Financial and Management Accounts to be reviewed by the newly promoted Financial Controller. You will manage the small but efficient finance function, which includes a Management Accountant, Accounts Assistant and a Purchase Ledger. You will assist with all the group's reporting and control requirements. You will work very closely with the Financial Controller to develop and implement financial strategy for the business and senior leadership team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with experience working within a high performing finance function whilst leading a team. You will be experienced with the preparation of both Financial and Management Accounts. Working with a larger group structure would be preferred along with manufacturing experience. You will have strong technical finance knowledge and understand risk management.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £55,000 with excellent benefits. Which includes a 25 day holiday (plus bank holidays) private medical, 15% bonus and hybrid working. You will be given clear progression opportunities from the outset, this role will lead to Financial Controller within 2 years.
