  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced MS Excel Skills with a good understanding of Lookups and Pivot tables.
  • An ability to understand, interpret and apply group structures.
  • A mentality of continuous improvement.
  • A self-starter who can demonstrate initiative, with the ability to prioritise workloads and to give guidance to less experienced team members.
  • An ability to communicate at all levels and develop good working relationships.
  • The ability to manage multiple demands effectively whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

What you\'ll be doing

  • Timely completion of quarterly reporting tasks, including additional journals, preparing management accounts, explaining movements, and producing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Managing the internal recharging transfers on a monthly basis for income/cost and turnover rents, including appropriate VAT treatment.
  • Monthly reconciliation of recoveries and follow up on queries.
  • Liaising with investment fund finance business partners to reflect any changes to fund structures in the appropriate reporting period.
  • Accounting for the business charity including monthly journal posting, monthly management accounts, quarterly board reporting, forecasting, budgeting and liaising with the operational team.
  • Ad-hoc tasks, such as working through technical aspects of corporate restructures, securitised debt facilities, and equity related transactions, such as distributions and redemptions.
  • Production of ad-hoc reports as required by stakeholders across the business and cost centre budget holders.
  • Performing monthly tasks in relation to Group fixed assets and depreciation charges - including posting of journals, reconciliations, forecasting and understanding movements and technical treatment.
  • IT Capex/ work-in-progress reconciliation and reporting on a monthly basis.
