Your new company
Hays are working with a well known Bristol employer to recruit a Finance Manager on a 15 month Fixed Term Contract. A market leading business with an international reach championing sustainability in everything that they do.
Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller this is a crucial role that involves accurately accounting, reporting and consolidating group results. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Submitting monthly results, half year and quarterly forecasts to the group.
  • Oversee all balance sheet reconciliations,
  • Act as the point person for all audit queries, producing all statutory accounts and provide commentary
  • Provide technical support to other teams and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage, oversee a small team, supporting the Financial Controller and the wider team.

What you\'ll need to succeed
We are ideally looking for someone with a strong understanding of financial reporting frameworks in a large business. You should be a qualified accountant with demonstrable financial accounting and tax experience. If you have experience in an industry dealing with stock, that would be a benefit.
