Your new company
Scale-up insurtech, with revenue of 5.5 million for 2023 with rapid growth plans for next year. As such, they are looking to expand their finance team to keep up with the growth.


Your new role
They are looking to hire someone into a hands-on, all round position where you will get involved in:

  • Month-end reporting
  • Balance sheet controls
  • Tax
  • Technical accounting
  • Financial and regulatory reporting
  • Support on commercial development proposals
  • FP&A
  • Expenses
  • Payroll



What you\'ll need to succeed
The role could cover anything Finance related day-to-day and requires someone who is willing and able to learn new things quickly, with frequent urgent ad-hoc demands. The role would suit someone who wants to get experience in all areas of Finance as part of a fast-paced scale-up and there will be a lot of work that is directly performed with the management team (Head of Finance, the CEO, the Commercial Director, the CTO and the COO). You will be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA. Experience in the technology or insurance sectors in beneficial. If you are making your first move from practice into industry, it is essental that you have worked on either insurance or technology clients.


What you\'ll get in return
This role offers the potential to gain a lot of experience and there is room for progression given the company is growing quickly. You will get support 3 others in the wider finance team. You will report directly into the Head of Finance who will support your development and progression. You will receive a salary between £60 - 70k (doe) + bonus + benefits.
