This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with drive and enthusiasm to develop their career and become a key player in the growing Audit team of this forward thinking accountancy firm. They are seeking someone with energy, strong influencing skills and vision, who takes pride in their work. With a background in larger corporates and groups, you will have your own caseload and work directly with partners, as well as developing their Audit team.
This individual will be responsible for managing a caseload primarily in Milton Keynes for general practice partners across the firm. Control and supervision of the team. Marketing and promotion of the firm.
Audit of a large range of corporate clients including groups and overseas subsidiaries.
Reporting directly to Partners and liaising with other managers as required.
Planning, supervision and review of audit and accounts cases including preparing notes for partners.
Main point of contact with clients and liaising with clients both face to face and on the phone/video- link/email on day to day issues.
Assisting staff with technical accounting and auditing problems.
Developing the audit function in Milton Keynes and synchronising with the other offices.
Supervision and development of staff and providing leadership to the department.
ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 2-3 years post qualification audit experience and experience as a manager. Trained within a Chartered Practice and used to dealing with organisations with turnovers up to £100 million.
