A multi-specialist professional services organisation in Eastleigh is seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis to support them with multi-divisional accounts processes and modelling.
Your new role
Assisting the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of all management accounts and financial modelling for a number of divisional accounts for this highly ambitious services company seeking exceptional growth.
The scope of the role will include involvement in transactional support, VAT reporting and aspects of accounting, tax and financial management. You will have significant responsibility for spotting trends, providing commentary to support your findings in your reporting. As part of the team, you will contribute to the production of monthly management accounts and commentary, as well as having responsibility for income recognition calculations for WIP on a monthly basis.
Other duties will include the production of balance sheet, controls and inter-company reconciliations, variance analysis including resource deployment, and reconciling the same to people system records. You will also assist with the production of the annual budget and forecasts, variance analysis of cash flows, analysis of debt and production of statutory accounts.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a qualified Accountant with previous experience in a Management Accountant role within the Professional Services industry. You\'ll enjoy working in a collaborative and integrated team, with Microsoft Excel skills that give you the capacity to produce VLOOKUPs, Pivots and Macros where required. Experience of Elite 3E is desirable.
What you\'ll get in return
