Your new company
This company is a nationwide not-for-profit organisation. They are specialists in their sector and make a real impact to your local communities around the country. They offer a flexible hybrid working environment with offices in South Manchester. Between £400-£550 per day dependent on experience.


Your new role
Supporting the Group Financial Controller and the senior management team, you will manage the monthly reporting process in addition to the group consolidation of the financial statements at year end. In this role you will consistently look for ways to improve the financial control framework and implement an effective testing platform to effectively manage risk to ensure compliance. Alongside this, you will manage a team in this role with a number of direct reports supporting you on the completion of these duties.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a sound technical understanding whilst being a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA and have a good technical accounting knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP/FRS 102. The client will favour candidates who have worked within the Housing sector previously. You will also have a strong comprehension of various risk and control frameworks, alongside a drive and ambition to take on responsibility in a successful and growing organisation.
