Hays Senior Finance are working with this public sector organisation in Shrewsbury to recruit a Finance Manager.
Your new role
The organisation will consider someone on either a full-time or part-time (30 hours a week) basis and the job will be a hybrid role.
The duties for this great position will involve:
- Producing management accounts
- Planning audit meetings
- Creating and collating payroll information for external accountants, calculating pay and checking deductions
- Preparing costs for new bids
- Managing all aspects of the year-end audit VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Purchase ledger
- Sales ledger
- Cashflow forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
What you\'ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar role, and they will be available to work in an office 2 days a week.
What you\'ll get in return
This job comes with a full-time equivalent salary of £40,000 - £42,000 per annum depending on experience, as well as hybrid working and 28 days\' holiday + bank holidays.
