Your new company
Our client, a highly successful, international manufacturing company based in North East Lincolnshire is looking for a professionally qualified Accountant to join its internal audit team. The role will offer hybrid working.

Your new role
You will participate in operational audits, investigations, internal control testing, and provide recommendations to improve internal controls globally. You will provide support to the internal audit department ensuring the strategy and long-term vision of the department is upheld, and participate in financial, operational, and compliance audits from planning to draft report writing, testing and presenting findings.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be qualified with a finance degree or accounting/audit qualification, possibly be working in Professional Practice and looking for your next career move. You will have some audit experience and be keen to progress your career within internal audit. You will have the ability to draft findings, make recommendations, identify and analyse opportunities to add value to the business. SOX experience will be advantageous but not essential as support will be provided. You must have the ability to work independently, prioritise, multitask, and manage deadlines. You will be a team player, able to work proactively and constructively with various departments and functions as well as the external auditors. You must also be prepared to travel if required, although this is expected to be minimal.
