Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are working with a long-established and successful manufacturer in the Lincoln area to hire a Financial Controller.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be the number one in finance. With responsibility for 1 member of staff, you will be responsible for all aspects of finance from ledgers to year-end, VAT, payroll, costings, IT support and some elements of commercial (working with the commercial team on overlaps with financials). You will take a keen interest in process and systems improvements and make recommendations accordingly to improve reporting, visibility of data and opportunities to improve the "bottom line".
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a qualified ACCA, ACMA or ACA with a proven track record of financial control in SME businesses. You will have manufacturing or similar industry sector experience and be used to reporting to senior management. You will have experience of Sage and be a "hands on" individual used to taking responsibility for all aspects of accounts from invoices to year end. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills. You will be living in close commute to the Lincoln area as the role is predominantly office-based.
