Your new company
You\'ll be joining a friendly, medium-sized team within a Swindon-based business renowned for its employee welfare, market-leading package, and progression opportunity. This is a newly created position that has arisen due to an acquisition and so will initially be more project focused due to the integration related tasks for the first 12 months in the role. You\'ll be supported by a team of qualified accountants from all backgrounds and have plenty of engagement with local and global stakeholders.
Your new role
You\'ll have a broad remit and will take responsibility for the financial management of the new entity and business partnering with internal stakeholders on all aspects of accounting for the project.
Specifically, you will oversee the production of management and statutory accounts and the financing, cash management and planning, quarterly group reporting, and audit/investor liaison relating to the entity.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You\'ll need to be ACA or ACCA qualified with experience using SAP, so it\'s likely you\'ll have some experience in both practice and industry (or just industry!). It\'s also important that you\'re comfortable and competent with MS Excel to an intermediate level and are a confident communicator with the ability to work effectively and autonomously.
